Dato’ Sri Dato’ Yong Kok Heng, Michael SSAP., DBNS.,SAP.

Born in Johor Bahru. In 1971, Dato’ Sri married Datin Sri Tan Cheng Moo, who was a Secondary School teacher at the time. The happy marriage of over 50 years has brought up two sons and two daughters who are outstanding in various career fields. Currently, they have 6 grandchildren.

Dato’ Sri has a strong interest in dance since he was a child, and he is very talented especially in Latin dance. Dato’ Sri has participated and won five championships in numerous competitions since 1998 including the Senior World Open Championship.

Dato’ Sri has been bestowed as Dato (D.B.N.S.) and Dato’ Sri (SSAP) in 2012 and 2013 respectively.

Dato’ Sri who is the Founder of Mega Kabel Sdn Bhd, set up Mega Kabel in May 1990 after disposal of his shares in Olympic Cable Company Sdn Bhd.

Since its humble beginnings, Mega Kabel has grown and always been recognised in the industry as one of the leaders due to its success in dominating the market and its exceptionally quality, delivery and service.

Mega Kabel has also made successful breakthroughs in the international arena, including Singapore, Myanmar, Cambodia, Mauritius, Vietnam, Philippines, Thailand, South Africa, Iraq and other countries.

Mega Kabel was awarded the Top 50 Outstanding Enterprises in Malaysia in 2002 and 2006, which further affirmed the company’s business development.
